Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced the signings of import linebackers Malcolm Postell and Jamacia Jackson today.
Postell, a 6-1, 235-pound native of Keyport, New Jersey played four years at Pittsburgh, starting 21 of 39 games. Over the course of his collegiate career, the 24-year-old recorded 142 tackles, three quarterback sacks and eight interceptions -- three of which he returned for touchdowns. In 2006, Postell joined the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe before attending training camp with the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jackson, a 6-1, 210-pound native of Sumter, South Carolina spent four years at South Carolina where he started 21 of 43 games, recording 159 tackles, two quarterback sacks and two interceptions. The 25-year-old was added to the Montreal Alouettes practice roster in 2005 and has additional pro experience with the NFL's New York Giants and Tennessee Titans as well as NFL Europe's Berlin Thunder.
