Bisons' Schwinden to Start for Mets on Friday

The New York Mets today announced that Buffalo Bisons RHP CHRIS SCHWINDEN will start for the Mets on Friday night against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.

Schwinden went 2-2 with a 2.05ERA in four starts with the Bisons this season (22.0IP, 14H, 9BB, 13K). His ERA is the seventh lowest in the International League.

In his last start, Schwinden threw a six-inning complete game in a 1-0 loss to the Syracuse Chiefs in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday. In that outing, he allowed just three hits and no walks while striking out four.
