TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons play the first game of a four-game series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at Coca-Cola Field. The Herd is looking to snap its first five-game losing steak of the season and its first since a six-game slide from July 31 to August 6 of last year. This is the beginning of eight-game homestand for Buffalo, who will also play four games against the Indianapolis Indians.

HOME SWEET HOME: After a tough 3-5 road trip, the Bisons return to friendly territory at Coca-Cola Field. The Herd is 19-11 (.633) at home this season. Buffalo's home record is tied for the second best in the International League, trailing only Durham's 20-10 mark at home.

vs. THE IRONPIGS: The Bisons and IronPigs split their first four-game series in May in Lehigh Valley. Buffalo has not faired well against their division rivals since rejoining the International League, posting a 16-20 (.444) record. However, the Herd has a 9-7 (.563) record against the IronPigs at home.

LIVING WELL: LHP BOBBY LIVINGSTON is 2-1 with a 3.03ERA at home this season. In 35.1IP at Coca-Cola Field, the lefty has only allowed a single home run. Livingston was overpowering in his last start at home, striking out seven in 3.1IP hitless innings on June 2 against Syracuse.

WELCOME BACK: Last night, the Herd welcomed OF FERNANDO MARTINEZ and C JOSH THOLE back to the starting lineup. Martinez, who had not played since May 8 with a left hamstring injury, returned with a double and a run scored. Thole, who had not played since June 2, had two hits, including a two-run double. Thole had missed over a week after getting hit in the head by a backswing while catching.

STAR WARS NIGHT: Tonight is Star Wars Night at Coca-Cola Field and the Bisons players will be wearing special Star Wars-themed jerseys during this evening's contest. The uniforms will be auctioned off during the game with the proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (33-28) won an interleague matchup against the Baltimore Orioles last night, 5-1. Former Bison RHP R.A. DICKEY improved to 4-0 with New York, tossing seven solid innings. Another former Bison OF CHRIS CARTER smacked a three-run blast in the winning effort. The Mets are now only a game and a half behind the Atlanta Braves in the NL East and look to cut the deficit even further as they play Baltimore again tonight at 7:05 p.m.
