TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons face the Louisville Bats in the second game of a four-game series from Louisville Slugger Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd lost to the Bats, 7-6, in the series opener last night. That dropped the Bisons' record on their current roadtrip to 1-4. After this four-game set, the Bisons will return to Buffalo for an eight-game homestand. The Herd is 7-10 on the road this season while Louisville is 7-8 at home.

vs. THE BATS: The Bisons hold the 3-2 edge in the season-series against Louisville. The Herd won three in the team's four-game set against the Bats at Coca-Cola Field, May 1-4. The last time Buffalo won the season-series was in 2007 when they were 5-3 against Louisville.

LIVING RIGHT: LHP BOBBY LIVINGSTON threw eight shutout innings the last time he faced Louisville. On May 1, the southpaw allowed just three hits and one walk in a 1-0 win over the Bats.

CLUTCH!: INF MIKE HESSMAN leads the International League with 35RBI, three more than Columbus OF SHELLEY DUNCAN. The Bisons' slugger is averaging .421 (16-38) with a .974 slugging percentage with runners in scoring position. Eleven of his International League-leading 21 extra-base hits have come with runners in scoring position (six doubles, five home runs).

HOT TEJADA: INF RUBEN TEJADA collected the Bisons' fourth four-hit game of the season last night. The 20-year old has now hit in 16 of 20 games since April 19. Tejada has averaged .391 (27-69) with 11 runs scored in 20 games over that stretch. His .391 average since April 19 is tops in the entire International League, .001 ahead of Louisville's INF CHRIS VALAIKA.

ROSTER MOVE: OF CHRIS CARTER has been recalled to the Mets. The outfielder was off to a stellar start this year, hitting .336 with six home runs and 22RBI in 29 games with the Herd. He ranked third in the International League with a .611 slugging percentage and eighth in average. To fill his void, OF D.J. WABICK has been promoted from Binghamton (AA). A 2009 Eastern League All-Star, Wabick has hit .222 (14-63) with a home run and eight RBI in 19 games with the B-Mets this season.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (17-15) fell to the Nationals last night, 3-2, from Citi Field. New York had 12 hits but was just 1-12 with runners in scoring position. Former Bisons' OF ANGEL PAGAN had two hits, including his second home run of the season. RHP JOHN MAINE took the loss despite allowing just two runs in seven innings. The Mets host Washington again tonight at 7:10 p.m.
