Broadway was 0-1 with a 5.65ERA in eight relief appearances with Chicago this year (16.0IP, 19H, 10R, 9ER, 9BB, 9K). He was also 0-2 with a 5.63ERA in three starts with Charlotte this year.

COOPER'S RECORDS: OF Jason Cooper hit an RBI-triple in last night's victory. The run driven in gives him 216RBI for his Bisons career. That total ranks second in the team's Modern Era behind only Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer INF Bill Selby (245). The triple was Cooper's 20th in a Bisons uniform. That ties him with INF Joe Inglett for the most in the Modern Era.

LUCKY 7s: Two of the hottest bats in the Bisons lineup belong to OF Cory Sullivan and INF Javier Valentin. Both veterans coming into tonight's game on seven-game hit streaks. Sullivan has hit .444 (12-27) during his stretch to raise his average 50 points since May 21. Valentin has hit .346 (9-26) during his streak with three doubles, a home run and four RBI.

Prior to that, Cora had hit .333 (17-51) with four doubles, a triple and four RBI in 16 games with New York.

MEET THE METS: Former Bisons catcher Omir Santos accounted for both New York runs as the Mets (27-20) defeated the Marlins, 2-1 on Friday night. Santos hit a solo home run in the 5th inning and then came through with the walk-off RBI-single in the bottom of the 11th inning. Mike Pelfrey had a great start for the Mets, allowing just one run on five hits in 7.2 innings of work in a no-decision.
