Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Mud Hens in the final game of a four-game series at Fifth Third Field (6:00 p.m.). Tonight's contest wraps up a winning roadtrip for the Bisons as they are 4-2 on their one-a-year trip through Ohio. The Bisons took two of three in Columbus and could earn another series win with a victory tonight.

vs. the Mud Hens

The Bisons are 4-3 against the Mud Hens this year. Tonight's game will be the final regular season contest between these two clubs in 2015. A win today would give Buffalo their first season series win over Toledo since going 5-3 in 2008. The Bisons have outscored the Hens, 50-27, in their seven previous meetings this year.

Felix Doubront

LHP FELIX DOUBRONT makes his third start of the season today. The southpaw allowed an unearned run over four innings on Tuesday in Columbus in a game the Bisons won in extras. Doubront has allowed just five hits and no earned runs over his first two starts this year.

Jose Reyes

Blue Jays INF JOSE REYES has hit in all three games during his MLB injury rehab assignment with the team. The veteran had a two-run single last night and is now hitting .364 (4-11) with the Herd. Reyes has been on Toronto's DL since April 27 with a left fracture.

Matt Hague

INF MATT HAGUE leads the International League in average (.356), hits (57), doubles (15), RBI (31) and total bases (80). He also ranks 2nd with a .428 on-base pct. Hague has hit .462 (12-26) with eight doubles and nine RBI on the team's current roadtrip. Hague is hitting .429 (21-49) with runners in scoring position this year.

Pitching Staff

The Bisons' team ERA of 2.48 is almost a half a run better than any other team in the league (Norfolk, 2.96). Opponents have hit just .236 against Herd pitching with 44 less hits (337) than innings played (381.0). Buffalo led the IL last year with a 3.52 team ERA as well.

INF KEVIN NOLAN has hit in all eight games he's played with the Herd this year with a .333 (9-27) average...LHP RANDY WOLF leads all qualifying IL pitchers with a 0.94 ERA

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (19-26) lost a second straight one-run game to the Mariners on Saturday, 3-2. Mark Buehrle allowed just three runs in 7.1 innings but fell to 5-4 on the season. Former Bison Chris Colabello homered for Toronto. The Blue Jays host Seattle again today at 1:07 p.m.
