The Buffalo Bisons (1-1-2) were defeated by the Toledo Mud Hens, 5-2, Thursday afternoon from Lakeland, FL.
Outfielder Jason Cooper accounted for both Bisons runs in the game. He hit his first home run of the Spring and had an RBI-single.
Pitcher Brian Slocum (0-1) got the start for Buffalo and allowed three runs (two earned) in four innings of work.
The Herd will return to their Spring Training home in Winter Haven, FL to face the Round Rock Express (Houston Astros) on Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
The Bisons open up the 2007 season at Dunn Tire Park on Thursday, April 5 against the Richmond Braves (14 days away).
