Syracuse Mets (6-7)

Buffalo and Syracuse are meeting again after playing each other last week at Sahlen Field. The Herd took two of the three games to finish off their hot month of June and tie them with Rochester for the best record in the International League (20-10) in the month. The teams will meet one more time at Sahlen Field on 8/2-8/4 to finish out the season series.

Tonight's Starter

RHP Sean Reid-Foley takes the ball before the All-Star Break for Buffalo. In his last start on 6/18, Reid-Foley struckout a season-high eight batters in 4.2 innings against the Indians. Most recently though, the right hander tossed 3.1 perfect innings on 7/2 versus Boston striking out four Red Sox for Toronto.

Ryan Feierbend

LHP Ryan Feierabend picked up his fifth win of the season on Saturday. The lefty knuckleballer tossed a season-high seven innings yielding just one run on three hits and two walks, while striking out five.

Zach Jackson

RHP Zach Jackson tossed two shutout innings out of the bullpen to help secure the victory. In his last 17 appearances, Jackson has allowed just three runs and two earned runs (27.1 innings) dating back to 5/21. In that span, Jackson's ERA has gone from 5.68 to 2.84, which includes his 0.48 ERA in 18.2IP (11G) in the month of June.

Bisons Bits

Buffalo has collected 14 hits in back-to-back games, giving them a .317 team AVG in six games this month, good for second in the IL. Their .376 on-base pct. is third behind Louisville (.378) and Rochester (.417).

Blue Jays Update

Toronto (33-57) dropped the second game against Baltimore 8-1. The Blue Jays were held to just three hits on the afternoon with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Cavan Biggio picking up two of those singles. RHP Trent Thornton looks to avoid the sweep as he faces RHP Asher Wojciechowski in the final game before the All-Star break. First pitch at Rogers Centre is scheduled for 1:07 p.m.
