Bisons Constructing Stage Today for July 3rd BPO Show

The Buffalo Bisons will be constructing the concert stage in the right field party deck TODAY from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. in preparation for their 14th annual Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra on Thursday, July 3 at Dunn Tire Park.

In its 14th season, the Independence Eve Celebration will surpass a quarter of a million fans with the show on Thursday. The premier summer event in Downtown Buffalo began in 1995. In the 13 seasons prior to 2008, the event has drawn 247,575 fans.

Interested media are welcome to cover the stage construction. Bisons officials will also be available to comment on the preparation for Thursday's milestone event.
