
Biscuits Storm Back to Beat Suns

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Biscuits (35-33) trailed 5-0 after six innings but scored five in the eighth and two in the ninth to come back and win 7-6 over the Jacksonville Suns (34-31) Saturday night at the Baseball Grounds in Jacksonville.
With the Biscuits trailing 6-5 in the ninth inning, Robby Price led of the frame with a double. Robby Estrada pinch ran for Price while Cameron Seitzer came in to pinch hit. Seitzer bounced a base-hit through the middle of the diamond to score Estrada and tie the game at six. After a sacrifice bunt from Mark Thomas, Kevin Kiermaier hit a sacrifice fly to left to score Seitzer and give the Biscuits the lead.
C.J. Riefenhauser (2-0) allowed a one-out-single in the bottom of the ninth, but then struck out Zack Cox the Kyle Jensen - the Southern League leader in home runs - to end the game and preserve the win. Riefenhauser also pitched a scoreless eighth inning for the win.
Montgomery collected three hits and was assisted by three errors from the Suns in a five-run eighth inning. Thomas and Mikie Mahtook each had an RBI in the inning while Shawn O'Malley delivered the big blow with a two-run triple.
The win is the biggest comeback victory for the Biscuits this season. It is the first win for the Biscuits in Jacksonville in the last ten games.
Game four is Sunday afternoon at 2:05 cst. LHP Enny Romero will take the mound for the Biscuits while RHP Sam Dyson will toe the rubber for the Suns.
