The Chattanooga Lookouts took the Montgomery Biscuits into extra innings but fell 5-4.

Montgomery jumped out to a 4-0 lead, scoring two in the first, one in the fourth, and one in the fifth.

With one out in the bottom of the fifth inning, Daniel Vellojin jumpstarted the office with a single up the middle. The next batter, Jacob Hurtubise, singled to put two runners on. After a Michael Siani strikeout, Matt McLain walked to load the bases for Elly De La Cruz. The Reds' #1 prospect delivered a bases-clearing double to put the Lookouts within one. Christian Encarnacion-Strand followed that up with a RBI double to knot the game up at four.

The game remain tied entering the ninth inning. The Biscuits threatened with runners on second and third, but Pedro Garcia entered the game and recorded three straight outs to keep the game tied.

In the 10th the Biscuits scored the go-ahead run when two straight wild pitches scored their runner on second.

In the loss, Lookouts starting pitcher Eduardo Salazarstruck out seven in 4.2 innings on a season-high 96 pitches.

Tomorrow, the home team aims to get back on track. Saturday's contest begins at 7:15 p.m.
