MOBILE, Ala. -- When the Montgomery Biscuits' game at Hank Aaron Stadium was scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. Friday night, the BayBears were expecting heavy rain.
That rain started minutes later. It rained hard for an hour and continued, more lightly, for another hour. At 9:25 p.m. they finally postponed the game.
The game will be made up as part of a Saturday doubleheader at 6:05 p.m. Both games will be seven innings long.
The Biscuits will send lefthanders Jimmy Osting and Jason Cromer to the hill in the twin bill, while the BayBears will use righties Chris Rojas and Tim Stauffer.
