Lakewood, NJ- Gus Milner kicked the ball out of Michael Pierce's glove in the bottom of the sixth allowing two runs to score as the BlueClaws defeated the ‘Birds 4-2 at FirstEnergy Park Saturday night. Delmarva had one run leads in the fourth and fifth innings but Lakewood battled back with a run in the bottom of each inning the Shorebirds scored. Danny Figueroa had two hits for the Shorebirds and Chris Vinyard drove in a run and now has a team high 52 RBI. Quintin Berry and Milner had two hits apiece for Lakewood and Milner the lone RBI.

Delmarva heads into the final game of the first half tomorrow against Lakewood, as Antonio Bastardo gets the ball for the BlueClaws and Jeff Moore goes for the Shorebirds.
