Suns Infielder Leonard Davis Named To South Atlantic League All-Star Game

Hagerstown, MD: The Hagerstown Suns announce that infielder Leonard Davis has been selected to the South Atlantic League Northern Division All-Star Team. The game will take place on Tuesday, June 19 at State Mutual Stadium in Rome, Georgia.

Davis, 23, was selected in the 8th round of the 2004 First-Year Player by the Washington Nationals. Davis is hitting .258 with nine home runs and 27 RBIs. He leads the team with 18 doubles and is tied for the team lead with three triples.

Davis was the fourth Suns' player named to the 48th Annual South Atlantic All-Star game. Cory VanAllen, Mike Daniel and Chris Marrero were all selected to the mid-summer classic. All four will not be attending the All-Star game due to their respective promotions to the Class "A" Advanced Affiliate of the Washington Nationals, the Potomac Nationals.
