
Binnington Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that goaltender Jordan Binnington has been named the teams Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 13th, 2011. Binnington and the Attack had a 5-2 victory over Sarnia and a 4-3 shootout victory over Mississauga this past weekend.
On Friday evening, Binnington made 30 saves, including 11 in the third period in a 5-2 victory over the Sarnia Sting. On Saturday evening, the St. Louis Blues 3rd Round Selection upped his fine play with a 39 save performance, including three more in the shootout, backing the Attack to a 4-3 come from behind shootout victory over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.
In 2 games, the Richmond Hill native posted a 2.50 GAA to go along with a .932 save percentage and has won his last three consecutive starts. During the month of October, Binnington has posted a 3-1 record, accompanied by a 2.95GAA and .914 save percentage.
The Attack is back in action at home this Wednesday when Bayshore Broadcasting presents the Attack versus the Otters. The Attack has won three games in a row and will look to make it four when the puck drops at 7:00pm at the JD McArthur Arena.
