Bighorns Fall to Texas in a High Scoring Game

RENO, NV - The Reno Bighorns fell 131-153 to the Texas Legends tonight at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Fisco, TX.

Jordan Hamilton led the Bighorns tallying 24 points, five assists, and a phenomenal 16 rebounds. Quincy Miller added 33 points and eight rebounds. David Stockton totaled 18 points, and nine assists.

Legend's Eric Griffin led the Legends with 34 points and eight rebounds. Dwight Powell scored 26 points, and added 21 rebounds.

Bighorns forward Ra'Shad James contributed nine points in the first quarter, adding two rebounds, while center Jordan Hamilton scored eight points, and added two rebounds.

During the second quarter, Miller notched 14 points and two rebounds, while Hamilton recorded 13 points and two rebounds.

The Bighorns ended the first half of the game shooting 47.3% from the field.

David Wear led the Bighorns in the third quarter with seven points and three rebounds. Hamilton added five rebounds in the quarter.

In the final period of the game, the Bighorns out-shot the Legends 37-30. Miller totaled 10 points, and three rebounds, while Quincy Miller contributed 9 points, shooting 3-3 from behind the arc.

The Bighorns will return home this Tuesday, December 30 to take-on the Idaho Stampede at 7 p.m. The Bighorns will be offering a $7 ticket special in honor of the Bighorns Masco, Bruno, for his seventh birthday.
