Reno Bighorns News Release

RENO, Nev.- The Reno Bighorns look to solidify the first playoff berth in franchise history with an action-packed weekend of basketball against the Albuquerque Thunderbirds and Tulsa 66ers, featuring Autism Night and $2 beers on Friday, Latino Night and $1 tacos on Saturday, and a special Easter Egg Hunt before the 4 p.m. game on Sunday.

Friday's 7 p.m. tilt will be the final regular season Friday night game, with $2 domestic beers throughout the game. Friday is also World Autism Awareness Day, and the Bighorns are teaming up with The Autism Coalition of Nevada to help benefit autism awareness.

Friday also kicks off a weekend of merchandise specials, as all Bighorns merchandise will be discounted 20% for the three games this weekend. In addition, fans can get a discounted ticket to any of this weekend's game by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to the Salvation Army.

On Saturday, the Bighorns square-off against Albuquerque again on Latino Night. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase $1 tacos and $3 margaritas throughout the game. In addition, the University of Nevada Latino Research Center will be recognized for helping to raise $12,000 for a school in Chile that was devastated by a recent earthquake.

Easter Sunday's 4 p.m. contest against the Tulsa 66ers, which could determine the league's final playoff spot, will feature a number of specials as well.

In addition to all tickets from Monday's postponed game being honored at the door, fans can purchase any bowl seat for just $5. All area children are invited to a special Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 2:30 p.m., and as with all Sunday games, this Sunday's contest will feature $1 hot dogs all game long.

Depending on the results of Friday and Saturday's games, Sunday's matchup between Reno and Tulsa could determine who qualifies for the final D-League playoff spot, as Reno trails Tulsa by just one game in the hunt for the final spot heading into Friday's games.

Single-game tickets for Friday and Saturday's games start at $7, with bowl tickets on Sunday available for just $5 each.

2010-11 season tickets are available now. Call (775) 284-2622 or visit www.RenoBighorns.com for more information.
