Several media outlets are reporting that future Hall of Fame pitcher Randy Johnson will be making an appearance in Modesto on Sunday, April 8th as a member of the Visalia Oaks. Johnson, who was placed on the disabled list following off-season back surgery by the Arizona Diamondbacks, is scheduled to make two minor league starts before rejoining the Diamondbacks rotation. The five-time Cy Young Award winner has 280 career victories and 4,544 strikeouts, the most by a left-hander in Major League Baseball history. He trails only Roger Clemens and Nolan Ryan on the all-time strikeout list.
The April 8th game against the Visalia Oaks will be the final game of the
