Big Valley Shockwave News Release


Big Valley, CA. The ABA Big Valley Shockwave has moved its playing venue to Modesto Junior College located at 435 College Avenue in Modesto, California beginning February 4th following the ABA All-Star Game. According the team president, Catrice J. Claxton, "This is a tremendous opportunity for our team and we are thankful to the college for allowing us to play our games there; it is a terrific facility and the fans will love it."

"Our head coach, Jim Pernetti, who has been coaching Ceres High School Junior Varsity basketball for 25 years is very dedicated and knowledgeable and passionate about the game," Claxton added, "and he is looking forward to playing in Modesto and making a strong showing in the league for our team. We also have a lot of promotions coming up that will show the fans of Big Valley that we mean business. The Shockwave are ready to rumble."
