
Big Inning Crushes Lemurs

El Paso, TX - The El Paso Diablos (15-29) score seven runs in the third to put the game out of reach and beat the Laredo Lemurs (20-24) 10-6 at Cohen Stadium in El Paso, Texas.
The third for the Diablos included six doubles, nine hits, with 12 batters coming to the plate.
The Diablos bats stayed hot against the Lemurs as they had several players with a multi-hit game tonight. Patrick Arlis led the way for the Diablos posting four hits in five at bats, with a run, and a RBI.
Maikol Gonzalez also put up four hits, with a double, and two RBI on the night.
The Lemurs saw Jimmy Mojica pick up four hits in his five plate appearances, with two runs scored, and three RBI, in second day off the disabled list. Stephen Douglas pitched in with three hits, including a triple, and three RBI. Ernie Banks Jr. also added three singles to add to the mix for the Lemurs.
Lemurs starting pitcher Manny Ayala (2-2) took the loss as he got roughed up for nine runs, on 18 hits, in six innings of work.
38 year old Freddy Flores (1-2) picks up the win for the Diablos, as he went six, giving up eight hits, three runs, with three strikeouts.
The Lemurs have lost the first three games of the series against the Diablos and have one more game on Friday before coming home.
