Kalamazoo Kings News Release
The Kings again lost a close game to Chilicothe this evening. Greg Wiltshire threw a great game!!! He went 8 inning giving up 2 runs. He recieved a no decision in tonights contest however when Chillicothe came back in the 9th and scored 3 runs off closer Jake Brooks. This gave the Paints a 5-4 lead.
The Kings threatned in the bottom of the 9th with a lead off single by Jason Statari but failed to bring him home. Winning pitcher for this evening was Paints closer Ramon Royce losing pitcher was Jake Brooks. Darryl Blaze had 2 hits for the Kings tonight, Leading in that catagory. Degroote and Archer both had a hit tonight leading to 2 RBI's each. Kings leave in the morning for 3 games but will return home on Thursday.
