ST. PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota United midfielder Bernardo Añor suffered an ankle fracture, which has required surgical repair. The injury was sustained during training leading up to this weekend's home match against Miami FC.
"Bernardo sustained an unstable ankle fracture for which he underwent surgical treatment," said United Team Doctor Corey Wulf of Twin Cities Orthopedics. "The surgical procedure was successful and we expect him to make a full recovery over the course of the next few months."
Añor is expected to return to the squad late in the 2016 Fall Season.
