Bergeron keys Bruins win

The Providence Bruins wrapped up their four-game road trip on Sunday afternoon in Hershey, Pennsylvania, fighting hard in a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Bears. The Bruins are in sixth place in the Atlantic Division with their 3-4-1-2 record (9 points).

Providence center Patrice Bergeron scored his second and third goals of the season, the latter coming on a power play at 5:19 of the third period, capping the Bruins' comeback. He also had an assist in the game, and was named the Number One Star.

Left wing Dan LaCouture scored his first goal of the season, hammering home the rebound of a point shot by defenseman Kevin Dallman in the first period. Fellow winger Andy Hilbert tied the game on a power play goal 52 seconds into the third period.

Bruin goaltender Hannu Toivonen stopped 28 shots to improve to 3-4-1 on the season.

The Bruins return home to host the Bears on Friday, November 12 at 7:05 p.m. Fans will receive a free Providence Bruins magnet schedule, courtesy of Shaw's Supermarkets.
