MISSOULA, MONT - Tom Belza's three-run home run capped off a four-run second inning, and the Missoula Osprey took control of their contest with the Helena Brewers early on Saturday before posting a 10-5 win in front of 2,235 fans at Ogren Park Allegiance Field.

Belza hit a 1-1 pitch by Brewers starter Drew Gagnon (0-2) deep to right to double the Osprey lead from 3-0 to 6-0 in the bottom of the second. Belza added a single, walk and stolen base while scoring twice to pace the 13-hit Missoula attack at the plate.

Eric Groff had two hits to extend his current hit streak to 23 straight games, and collected his 12th multi-hit game during the streak. Stephen Cardullo added two hits and two RBIs, while Ty Linton and Justin Bianco joined Groff with two hits and a RBI each.

Raymond Hernandez (6-0) went a career-best six innings, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six batters to pick up the win and tie for the league lead in that category. Victor Lara pitched two innings, striking out five of the seven batters he faced, while Johan Jaime struggled in the ninth, but managed to finish off the win with his second strikeout of the night, and the 13th for the Missoula staff in the game.

The Osprey will wrap up their two-game series with the Helena Brewers on Sunday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. Missoula will send right-hander Robby Rowland to the mound to take on Helena right-hander Tyler Cravy.
