MISSOULA, MONT - Dexter Price, Taylor Siemens and Keith Hessler combined on a five-hit shutout, while both Justin Bianco and Jon Griffin drove in a pair of runs as the Missoula Osprey beat the Billings Mustngs, 4-0, on Friday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in front of 1,969 fans.

Price (2-0) pitched the first five innings, allowing just three hits and a walk while striking out six batters to pick up the win. Siemens came in to pitch three innings of one-hit ball, allowing two walks and collecting four strikeouts, and Hessler allowed a hit and a walk, but struck out the side in finishing off the shutout.

Griffin would give the Osprey (3-3, 28-16) all of the offense they would need in the bottom of the first inning, as he singled home Fidel Pena with the game's first run. Griffin would also drive in the final run for Missoula, on a fifth-inning sacrifice fly.

Bianco took care of adding insurance in the bottom of the fourth, delivering a two-run single that pushed the Osprey advantage to 3-0.

Eric Groff singled in the bottom of the first to extend his club-record hit streak to 22 games, and had his 11th multi-hit game during the streak with two hits on the night. Pena also had two hits, as the pair collected half of the Missoula total of eight safeties in the contest. Tom Belza and Stephen Cardullo added base hits for the Osprey

The Osprey will begin a quick two-game series with the Helena Brewers on Saturday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. Missoula will send right-hander Raymond Hernandez to the mound to take on Helena right-hander Drew Gagnon.
