In 140 Characters or Less: The New Britain Bees earn yet another split of a doubleheader, this time beating the Bridgeport Bluefish 7-1 in the first game and dropping a tight 5-4 contest in the second.
The Game Changed When...: Game one was a tight contest for the first five innings until the Bees' offense exploded for five runs in the sixth inning, highlighted by Jon Jones' two-run home run and Michael Crouse's two-run single.
The second game also turned in the sixth inning, this time in favor of Bridgeport. After the Bees had scored four runs unanswered runs to tie the game, Endy Chavez delivered a two-out RBI single to plate the eventual game-winning run.
