In 140 Characters or Less: The Bees are back in New Britain tonight to take on the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs! First pitch 6:35PM!
Series: The Bees and Blue Crabs have played one series so far this season, with the Bees dropping three of four on the road in the middle of May. The two teams will face off twice more this weekend: Saturday night at 6:35PM, and Sunday afternoon at 1:35PM.

The Bees: The Bees return home after a road trip where they went 4-3, spitting their four game series with Long Island and taking two of three from Sugar Land. Forty games into the season, the Bees are 20-20 and sit just 2.5 games out of first place in the Liberty Division.
The Opposition: After reaching the ALPB Championship Series last season, the Blue Crabs have struggled to find a rhythm in 2016. They enter tonight's game with the Bees at 14-26, 10.5 games in back of the York Revolution in the Freedom Division. In their last series, they dropped two of three at home against Somerset.

Key to the Game- Get over the hump: The Bees enter tonight's game exactly at .500 (20-20). While the team has hit the .500 mark at various points this season, it has never gone above that plateau. New Britain is only 2.5 games out of first place, so starting the homestand off with a win tonight to get over .500 would be a good start in making its push towards first.
