Beef Claim Two POW Awards

The Omaha Beef claimed two player of the week awards for their efforts in the 54-43 victory over the Carolina Cobras.
Quarterback Tommy Armstrong took the offensive award for his part in seven touchdowns for the Beef. Armstrong ran the ball 12 times for 87 yards and five touchdowns. He went 8 for 14 passing for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
Linebacker Dylan Pettway claimed the Defensive player of the Week. Pettway recorded 1.5 sacks as part of his eight tackles and one quarterback hurry.
Omaha returns to Ralston this Saturday as they host the Colorado Spartans with kickoff slated for 6:30pm at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.
