
Beef are Back in Town for First of Three Home Games in May

Tuesday, May 06, 2003â Omaha, Nebraska â It's number one verses Number 2 in the Pacific Conference, Northern Division. Omaha Beef Football (4-2) is back in town for the first of three back-to-back home games in May as they host their I-80 rivals, the Lincoln Capitols (4-3) on Thursday, May 8, 2003 with a 7:05 PM kickoff.
In a struggle for first place in the division both teams are coming into the game with road wins. Omaha at Lacrosse (53-50) and Lincoln at Sioux City (20-0). As we pass the midway mark of the season the outcome of this game for the Beef will affect the playoff seeds for the 2003 championship set to being in July.
For the fans, a pre-game party with the Fishheads has been planned from 5 â 7PM on the south side of the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Free Hotdogs, free soda and $4 20oz beers will be offered to all who attend.
