Beef Announce TV Partnership

Omaha, Nebraska - The Omaha Beef of the United Indoor Football Association is pleased to announce the details of a TV partnership struck with Cox Communications.

Cox will carry 2 games "live" on digital cable channel 802. The games being broadcast are the season opener on Friday, March 24 and the game on Friday, June 2. In both games, the Beef will battle defending UIF Champion Sioux Falls. Both telecasts will start at 7:00pm. Another aspect of the partnership includes the games being available "On-Demand". Immediately following the game, it will be available for fans to view anytime via Cox's "On-Demand" service.

For those fans without digital cable, the games will be re-broadcast on the Sunday after the games at 7:00pm on Cox cable channel 2.

Head Coach Robert Fuller says this partnership is a great opportunity to introduce people to the Beef and the indoor game. "We are excited to partner up with Cox Communications and have several of our games televised this season," says Fuller. "When you combine the telecast they do and the event that we put on it is going to be an amazing show. This will really help us introduce the Omaha Beef and professional indoor football to all of Omaha."

The Omaha Beef are preparing for their season opening contest against the defending UIF champion Sioux Falls Storm. The Beef will kick off their seventh season at 7:35pm on Friday, March 24th at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Season and single game tickets are available by calling the Beef office at 402-346-2333.
