
Beavers, Timbers Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale Friday

PORTLAND, Ore. - Individual-game tickets for the 2009 Portland Beavers and Portland Timbers seasons at PGE Park go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m., it was announced today. Friday also marks the first date single-game tickets for the 2009 Cricket Wireless Triple-A All-Star Game and All-Star Home Run Derby will be made available.
Tickets for the 90-plus events on tap for the busy 2009 season of events will be available at the PGE Park box office in addition to area Ticketmaster outlets. Additionally, single-game tickets can be purchased by phone at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
The Beavers begin their 72-game home schedule Friday, April 17, when they take on the Fresno Grizzlies. The Timbers open their USL First Division home campaign at PGE Park when they play host to the Carolina RailHawks on Thursday, April 30. Both teams open their respective seasons on the road.
The 2009 Cricket Wireless Triple-A All-Star Game, which pits the top players from the Pacific Coast League against their counterparts from the International League, will be played at PGE Park on Wednesday, July 15. The All-Star Home Run Derby will take place at PGE Park on Monday, July 13.
Previously, Beavers and Timbers tickets were available exclusively as part of the teams' full- and partial-season ticket plans. On March 27, fans will be able to purchase single-game tickets to any of the Beavers' 72 regular-season home games and the Timbers' 15 regular-season home soccer matches.
Beavers individual-game tickets start at $8, while Timbers single-game tickets start at $11. Tickets for the Cricket Wireless Triple-A All-Star Game start at $25 and include the All-Star Home Run Derby.
A host of convenient and affordable ticket plans remain available by contacting the PGE Park ticket office at (503) 553-5555. Fans who purchase 2009 Timbers season-ticket packages will receive priority status for season-seat selection when the Timbers begin MLS play in 2011.
PGE PARK BOX OFFICE HOURS: Regular PGE Park box office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
