
Beavers, Timbers individual-game tickets on sale March 4

PORTLAND, Ore. - Individual-game tickets for the 2006 Portland Beavers and Portland Timbers seasons at PGE Park go on sale Saturday, March 4, at 12 noon, it was announced today.
Tickets for the 90-plus events on tap for the busy 2006 season, which begins on March 31 with the Toyota Trucks Mariners Day clash between the Beavers and Seattle Mariners, will be available at PGE Park in addition to Portland-area Ticketmaster outlets, including area Fred Meyer and G.I. Joe's locations. Additionally, Beavers and Timbers single-game tickets can be purchased by phone at (503) 224-4400 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
As part of the first day of single-game ticket sales, the Beavers and Timbers will be hosting an open house at PGE Park from 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Representatives from both teams will be on hand to give guided tours of the stadium and its seating options.
Previously, Beavers and Timbers tickets were available as part of the teams' full- and partial-season ticket plans. On March 4, fans will be able to purchase individual tickets to any of the Beavers' 72 regular-season home games, Toyota Trucks Mariners Day and all 14 Timbers home matches.
Following their spring training game against the Mariners on March 31, the Beavers, a member of professional baseball's Triple-A Pacific Coast League, begin the regular season on Thursday, April 6, against the Sacramento River Cats at PGE Park. The Timbers, a member of professional soccer's USL First Division, open their home season at PGE Park against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Friday, May 5.
Beavers individual-game tickets start at $8, while Timbers single-match tickets begin at $10.

PGE PARK BOX OFFICE HOURS: Regular PGE Park box office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
