Beach Bums introduce new director of concessions

TRAVERSE CITY...The Traverse City Beach Bums are please to announce the appointment of Juli Babcock as their 2007 Director of Concessions. As the Director of Concessions, Juli will oversee concession operations at Wuerfel Park. She is responsible for budgeting and cost control. She will use her excellent communication skills and her innate ability to lead to develop team members in Wuerfel Park's fast-paced and diverse environment. She is proficient with POS Systems and all Microsoft Office applications.
A 2002 graduate of Michigan State University, Juli earned her degree in Hospitality Business. Prior to moving to Traverse City, she was working for Sportservice Well Bread on behalf of the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. During her time at Comerica Park she held positions as a Suite Supervisor, Catering Coordinator and Restaurant Manager. Her work experience also includes internships at the Palace of Auburn Hills and DTE Energy Music theatre, as well as a season at Ford Field with Levy Restaurants on behalf of the Detroit Lions.
An avid skier, during the winter months Juli also stays busy as a ski instructor at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, MI.
