TRAVERSE CITY MI -- The Traverse City Beach Bums and Sunny Country 101.9, WLDR-FM, announced today that they have renewed their partnership for 2011. Sunny Country 101.9 will carry all 96 Beach Bums games home and away on Sunny Country 101.9FM, 750 WARD-AM Petoskey, and through online streaming as well. "It's been a great partnership for us" said John Wuerfel, Managing Member/COO of the Beach Bums. "We continue to love the station, their format and the way they promote us in the community".

Dave B. Goode, Program Director of Sunny Country 101.9, also expressed his excitement regarding the renewal. "We believe in the Beach Bums and they are a great asset for the community. It's not hard to promote them. Sunny Country 101.9 is proud to be the official station of the Traverse City Beach Bums. We look forward to an incredible 2011 season and, hopefully, a Frontier League Championship."
