(Vancouver) It was exactly the kind of explosive offensive performance the BC Lions were hoping for when they signed free agent receiver DeVier Posey and he delivered just that as the speedy pass grabber hauled in a season-high five catches for 113 yards with three touchdowns during Friday night's 42-32 win over the Edmonton Eskimos.

The lofty numbers earned Posey one of three Performer of the Week nods as announced by the CFL this morning.

Joining the club in September and seeing action in just his sixth game in Orange and Black, Posey notched three touchdowns in the third quarter of Friday's playoff-clinching victory, including a spectacular 65-yard strike from quarterback Travis Lulay.

The Lions may have earned a postseason berth with the victory, but there's still plenty on the line over the next two weeks including a potential playoff game at home as they prepare for a trip to Regina to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders this Saturday.

The final BC Lions regular season home game is Saturday, November 3 versus the Calgary Stampeders presented by Nissan. Join the Lions as they pay tribute to Wally Buono during his final regular season game as head coach. The first 5,000 fans through the gate will receive a commemorative Wally Buono bobblehead.

Single game tickets to the regular season finale including kid's tickets for just $10 per game and the new general admission Beach Party Zone for only $20 are available now.
