
Baysox C Caleb Joseph Named Player of the Week

BOWIE, Md. - Baysox catcher Caleb Joseph has been named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, June 16. Joseph is the second Baysox player to win the award this month as Brandon Waring was also named Eastern League Player of the Week June 3.
Joseph hit .522 (12-23) for the week with three doubles, a home run, seven RBI and two runs scored. In 60 games this season, Joseph is batting .305 with 18 doubles, a team-leading 13 home runs and a team-leading 50 runs batted in. The catcher currently leads the Eastern League in extra-base hits (31), is tied for second in home runs and total bases (128), and is second in the league in RBI. Joseph trails Waring by one (191-190) for the Baysox career RBI mark and he is 46 games played away from tying the career mark set by Ed Rogers (399).
