Erie, PA - The Erie BayHawks (11-8), NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, beat the Delaware Blue Coats (7-13), 134-126. The BayHawks have now won four consecutive games.

R.J. Hunter tied Erie's franchise record for most points in a game, pouring in a career-high 46 points on 19-31 (.612) shooting from the floor, including an 8-15 (.533) clip from deep, a game-high tying 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 41.2 minutes of play (46-Ivan Johnson, Jan. 14, 2011). His eight made three-pointers are tied for second-most all-time in BayHawks history (8-Seth Curry, Jan. 2, 2015). Jeremy Hollowell led all bench scoring tonight, tallying a career-high 26 points on 9-14 (.643) shooting, including a 4-7 (.571) mark from three-point territory, nine rebounds (four offensive) and two steals in 31.2 minutes as a reserve. John Gillon recorded a double-double in tonight's win, finishing with a career-high 13 assists, to go along with 15 points, five rebounds and one steal in 37.3 minutes.

Erie scored its 134 points on 48-92 (.522) shooting from the floor, including an 18-43 (.419) clip from three-point land. The BayHawks have now scored 130 or more points in six games this season, including in back-to-back contests (132-Dec. 28, 2018 vs. Lakeland).

Shake Milton recorded a game-high 36 points on 15-24 (.625) shooting from the floor for Delaware, to go along with five rebounds, a team-high tying eight assists and a game-high tying three steals in 36.0 minutes. Cameron Oliver notched a double-double, finishing with 24 points on 10-12 (.833) shooting, a game-high tying 10 rebounds (four offensive), two assists, a game-high tying three steals and a game-high three blocks in 33.6 minutes. The Blue Coats outscored Erie in points in the paint (70-54), second chance points (15-11) and fast break points (12-10).

After the first 12 minutes of action, the Blue Coats held a seven-point, 33-26, lead. Erie opened up the second quarter on a 23-7 run, to take a 49-40 lead with 5:04 left in the first half. At the intermission of tonight's contest, the BayHawks had a 69-54 advantage.

The BayHawks maintained their double-digit lead after 36 minutes of play. Heading into the final quarter, Erie held a 99-89 advantage. R.J. Hunter knocked down a jump shot early in the fourth to put the BayHawks over the century mark for their franchise-record 19th consecutive game. The BayHawks would eventually walk away with a 134-126 win.

Erie will travel to Portland, Maine for a New Years Eve matinee contest against the Maine Red Claws on Monday, Dec. 31 at 1:00 p.m. The BayHawks will remain on the road, taking on the Long Island Nets on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 7:00 p.m. Erie's first game of 2019 at Erie Insurance Arena will be Friday, Jan. 4 against the Windy City Bulls.
