Erie, Pennsylvania, Thursday, March 13 - The Erie BayHawks hosted the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Thursday night for the final time this season. Erie never seemed to find their rhythm and Fort Wayne controlled virtually the entire game, downing the BayHawks by a final score of 104-92.

The BayHawks (13-28) jumped out to an early five point advantage before Fort Wayne (25-15) battled back to take a four point lead into the second quarter. Ty Walker made his first start of the season for Erie and recorded 10 points in the quarter. The Mad Ants stretched their lead to 20, their largest of the game on a Ron Howard jumpshot with 2:05 left in the half.

Walker led Erie with 14 first half points while Tim Ohlbrecht paced the Mad Ants with 14 points of his own off Fort Wayne's bench.

Erie managed to close the gap to just five with a 17-2 run that spanned six minutes of the third quarter. Fort Wayne bounced back with a 14-4 run of their own and led 80-68 after three. The BayHawks couldn't draw any closer than nine points in the fourth quarter and the Mad Ants finished Erie off, 104-92.

Erie's Lewis Jackson recorded ten assists on the game, his NBA Development League record 12th straight game with at least that total. He also surpassed Cedric Jackson for Erie's single season record of 252 assists.

Walker led all Erie scorers with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Micah Downs added 16 points while Jackson finished with 14 points and 10 assists, his sixth straight double-double. Fort Wayne's Howard paced all scorers with 22 points and six rebounds. Ohlbrecht finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds and Chris Porter added 18 for the Mad Ants.

Erie returns to action tomorrow night against Springfield while Fort Wayne travels to Delaware to square off against the 87ers tomorrow.
