
BayBears, Biscuits Postponed in Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. - Wednesday night's contest between the Mobile BayBears and Montgomery Biscuits at Hank Aaron Stadium has been postponed because of rain and unsafe playing conditions. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday night at 5:05. Right-handers Josh Collmenter and Bryan Henry are expected to start for the BayBears.
Also on Thursday night at Hank Aaron Stadium, Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints safety Roman Harper will attend the contest between the Mobile BayBears and Montgomery Biscuits. Harper, a starter in the Saints' championship secondary, attended the University of Alabama prior to being drafted by the Saints in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. A native of Prattville, Harper will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the start of game two.
It will be Thirsty Thursday at the ballpark from 6 to 8 with $1 Buds and Pepsi available.
