PEARL, Miss - Saturday's scheduled contest between the Mobile BayBears and Mississippi Braves at Trustmark Park has been rained out. The clubs will take part in a doubleheader on Sunday that will start at 6:05 p.m., weather permitting. The BayBears are expected to start Matt Green (2-2, 6.10) and Hector Ambriz (5-12, 5.17) against right-handers Todd Redmond (12-5, 3.54) and Tommy Hanson (7-3, 3.27).
This will be the sixth doubleheader that the BayBears will take part in this season. They are 0-1-4 in their previous twin-bills. The BayBears return to Hank Aaron Stadium on Thursday, August 28 when they host the Birmingham Barons at 7:05 p.m.
