Huntsville Stars News Release
The pitches are flying and word from the field is to let everybody know that the record of 8,304 first pitches is in reach. The Stars fans have chunked an incredible 7,650 pitches at this time and fans are pouring in to help set the record. While you're out and about today, stop by The Joe and be a part of this record setting event. We'll be throwing pitches up until game time at 7:05 pm, except for a short break to allow the grounds crew time to prep the field for tonight's game.
Everybody gets to throw a first pitch. No game ticket is needed until 3:00 pm. You can throw your pitches and leave, no cost, no hassle, just park and come in and join the fun!
