Battery to host 'Paws at the Baud' on Wednesday, June 5

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery is hosting a special 'Paws at the Baud' night on Wednesday June 5 presented by Rick Hendrick Automotive Group to benefit Pet Helpers. The Charleston Battery will be welcoming soccer fans and their soccer-loving dogs out to Blackbaud Stadium as the Battery takes on long-time rivals the Charlotte Eagles in a USL PRO match.

Gates open at 6 PM with kick off set for 7:30 PM ($10 - $18, 971-GOAL / charlestonbattery.com).

For this special game only the East side of Blackbaud Stadium will be designated as the Dog Friendly section. All fans attending with dogs will be asked to enter the stadium at the East Main gate.

All dogs will remain on a leash at all times to prevent any particularly enthusiastic hounds from joining in the action on the field.

In addition:

Water bowls will be located at specific locations on the East side.

Charleston Battery players will join in the fun and throw special Doggy Treats into the stands at beginning of the game!

Tent space and shade will be available at the North end of stadium in case any dogs get a little hot under the collar.

All Dogs MUST remain on leash at all times

No entry without signed liability waiver

Dogs MUST remain in the designated dog friendly area (East side of stadium)

If your dog needs to relieve itself, kindly take it for a walk outside of the stadium and please pick up after your dog!
