
Bats Tie Series, Return to LSF Friday

The Louisville Bats defeated the Durham Bulls, 5-2, Thursday night and tied the series, 1-1. The team returns home to Louisville Slugger Field Friday night to finish the best-of-five series, first pitch tomorrow night is 7:05 p.m. Saturday's game four between the Bats and Bulls begins at 6:05 p.m. and game five, if necessary, is Sunday, Sept. 13 at 5:05 p.m.
In honor of the men and women who serve our community and country, the Louisville Bats are offering ALL Military, Police, Fire and Emergency Service Personnel a free field reserved ticket for the Louisville Bats' Friday, September 11 playoff game.
Tickets for family members may be purchased by Military and Emergency Service personnel for $5 each and $1 from each ticket purchased by all fans will go to Supporting Heroes, a non-profit service which provides for families of emergency responders in Kentucky and Indiana who are killed in the line of duty.
To receive the free ticket and purchase discounted family tickets, please bring a valid ID card to the Louisville Slugger Field Box office. Free and discounted tickets can not be redeemed through Ticketmaster.
Game three on Friday, September 11 will feature post-game fireworks and $2 Michelob Craft Beer Happy Hour from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on the Overlook Deck.
Game four on Saturday, September 12 will feature a 2009 West Division Champions T-Shirt giveaway to the first 2,000 adults in attendance.
If the Bats win their first round games, they will host the winner of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Gwinnett series in the opening two games on September 15-16 and travel to the SWB/Gwinnett series winner for games three through five on September 17, 18 & 19 (as necessary).

Regular hours at the Louisville Slugger Field box office are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Ticketmaster Ticket Centers include all Kroger Super Markets.
