Louisville Bats News Release
The Louisville Bats shutout the Ottawa Lynx 7-0 in spring training exhibition baseball on Thursday. Louisville improved to 3-1 with two ties in spring training baseball.
Cory Lidle started for the Bats, throwing six shutout innings to earn the victory. Danny Graves, Rigo Beltran and Scott Randall each pitched a scoreless inning of relief to preserve the win.
Louisville was led offensively by Corky Miller who went 2-for-4 with a home run and Dane Sardinha who drove in three runs for the Bats.
Louisville continues their 14-game spring training schedule Friday as they take on the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A Affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates at the Ed Smith Complex in Sarasota.
