
Bass, Brach, Lezcano Earn Post-Season Honors

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. - On Friday, August 27, the California League announced their post-season awards and all-star team with three Storm members receiving honors. Storm closer Brad Brach and starting pitcher Anthony Bass were named to the post-season all-star team while manager Carlos Lezcano was named Manager of the Year.
Starting Pitcher Anthony Bass leads all California League pitchers with a 3.31 ERA in 2010.
Lezcano, now in his fourth season at the helm of the Storm, has a 295-256 record, (As of 8/29/10) first place amongst all Storm managers. Lezcano has a chance to hit 300 wins as manager of Lake Elsinore having to go at least 5-3 in the teams final eight games.
Closer Brad Brach was also named Pitcher of the Year after breaking the single season saves record. Brach is 5-2 with a 2.52 ERA, 10 walks, 67 strikeouts and 40 saves in 60.2 innings of work this season.
