
Barracudas earn road win over Turlock

Turlock, California - The RGV Barracudas earned a road victory over the Turlock Express by final score of 8-6 on Friday night at the Turlock Indoor Soccer. The win for RGV is their second in as many games.
RGV midfielder Fernando Moreno got the scoring the scoring started in the game off a Salvador Luna pass making a 1-0 scoreline. Turlock would tie things up on a power play goal from Ivan Campos. The Express would take the lead on another man advantage goal by Campos making it a 2-1 game. Defender Ismael Pineda would tie things up at two with his 10th goal of season.
In the second quarter, Julio Reyes restored the Barracudas lead as his goal came from a Rodrigo Tinoco pass and made it 3-2 contest. Turlock would tie the game up at three all as Barsin Eisavi would score before halftime.
During the third quarter, Reyes once again re-established the RGV advantage at 4-3 on an individual effort. Luna would pad the Barracudas lead off an Austin Tom pass to make it a 5-3 game. Turlock would tie the game at five on 2 short handed goals as Adrian Plasencia and Jorge Carmona would get on the score sheet. Antonio Manfut would give back the advantage to RGV on a Jorge Quiroz pass making it 6-5. The Express responded once again via a Campos goal that made it six all.
The final period, Quiroz would score off a Manfut pass to make it 7-6 advantage Barracudas. Moreno would add another goal on an empty net off a Diego Rodriguez pass to make it 8-6 final score.
