
Barons to Skate Outside at Devon Ice Rink on December 29

Oklahoma City - Select members of the Oklahoma City Barons will skate outside on Saturday, December 29 at the Devon Outdoor Rink at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City from noon - 1p.m., the club's front office announced today.
The man-made, outdoor rink is set up in an area on the east side of the Myriad Botanical Gardens near Robinson Ave. across from the Cox Convention Center. The 60-foot by 100-foot rink is open from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. this Saturday. Cost to skate with skate rental included is $10 and $7 if you bring your own skates.
In its 11th year, Downtown in December transforms downtown Oklahoma City into a winter wonderland complete with an outdoor skating rink, Snow Tubing presented by Chesapeake at the Bricktown Ballpark, Oklahoma River Holiday cruises and so much more. The Barons close out 2012 with two home games. Friday, December 28, they take on the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. New Year's Eve is Barons practice jersey night. The first 2,000 adults and 1,000 kids 12-and-under receive a free Barons practice jersey. Faceoff is at 6 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m. Doors for Season Seat Holders open at 4:45 p.m.
A variety of ticket packages are available to meet every individual or group need. Packages ranging from 7-game and 11-game packs to Full Season Seats are available. Call the Barons' front office at 405-232-4625 for information on group outings, Season Seats and other ticket packages.
