
Barons stay alive against Bulldogs

The Cleveland Barons gained their second win of the AHL North Division Semifinal series by defeating the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-1 in Game #5 at Copps Coliseum on Friday night. The Bulldogs lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.
Scoring for the Barons on Friday were Tavis Hansen (2), Doug Murray and Greg Labenski.
Duncan Milroy scored the lone Bulldogs goal in Game #5.
In goal, Jean-Francois Damphousse made 17 saves and suffered the loss for the Bulldogs. Nolan Schaefer picked up the win by stopping 32 shots on the night.
The Bulldogs scored once on six power play opportunities, while the Barons scored three times with the man-advantage.
The Hamilton Bulldogs will look to wrap up their AHL North Division Semifinal series on Sunday, May 2nd, as they will travel to Cleveland to face the Barons in Game #6 at Gund Arena.
