
Barnstormers Defeat Lancaster Bible In Final Spring Tuneup

Trayvon Robinson collected five hits, and Kyle Waldrop drove in five runs as the Lancaster Barnstormers downed the Chargers from Lancaster Bible College, 22-1, in the annual scrimmage.
It was the final tuneup for the Barnstormers before their season opener Thursday evening in York.
Robinson had four singles and a double, along with a walk against the D-III Chargers pitching staff. He scored three runs and stole a base. Waldrop banged two-run singles in the third and sixth innings and slugged a solo home run in the fifth. Joey Terdoslavich added a two-run homer immediately prior to Waldrop's blast.
Jonathan Albaladejo made the start for the Barnstormers. He was reached for a run in the first inning on a leadoff double by Sam Taylor and two infield outs. Brooks Hall and Nate Reed wrapped up the pitching for the Barnstormers.
Right fielder Will Welsh collected two singles for the Chargers.
