
Barnstormers Annual Free Fan Fest Slated for April 18

There will be smiles on the faces of every Barnstormers fan who comes to Clipper Magazine Stadium for FAN FEST on Saturday, April 18! Balloon Artists, Face Painters, Cookie Decorators, Train Conductors, costumed characters and more will be on hand to welcome everyone in Lancaster County!
The Barnstormers annual FREE Fan Fest is a tradition that marks the first time of the year when Clipper Magazine Stadium opens to the public.
Beginning when the gates open at noon, an incredible array of activities and entertainment will be available for fans of all ages.
Cylo, the iconic Barnstormers mascot, will be joined by a couple of his closest friends including the Hershey Bar and Turkey Hilda. These beloved mascots will be warmly greeting fans and welcoming them to a brand new season of baseball fun.
Once inside, youngsters can have their faces painted and get balloon animals. They can explore their own artistic prowess through woodworking at a station provided by Lowe's and a mural painting station courtesy of Two Dudes Painting. They can also try their hand at cookie decorating, courtesy of OCB Cakes. They can use their creative minds to build with Lego's ® at a table from Bricks for Kids and take a train ride around the outfield with Corn Cob Acres. There will also be performers from the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater's "Stinky Kids".
Best Authentics will have the finest sports memorabilia items available for fans looking to pick up that rare autographed item. There will also be a bat crafting station from unique bat designer - Bazzi Batts.
Music will be provided by 101, The Rose and ladies can get a free manicure courtesy of the Lancaster School of Cosmetology.
Don't forget to come to the ballpark hungry! Turkey Hill will be providing free ice cream cups and all ballpark Combo Meals will be half price for the day!
The 2015 edition of the Lancaster Barnstormers will be signing autographs on the concourse prior to the start of the scheduled spring training game and all families are invited to bring their gloves for a fan session of catch in the outfield.
Then, at 1:00, the defending Atlantic League champion Lancaster Barnstormers will hit the field to take on the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in nine innings of exhibition baseball. For most, it will be their first opportunity to catch Butch Hobson's new squad in action, getting a glimpse of what will be in store when the regular season opens at Clipper Magazine Stadium on April 30.
This fun-packed day will conclude with the first Kids Run the Bases session after the game courtesy of Domino's Pizza.
